Message Well, it depends on how you take care of it, and how you ride it. I had a 1988 Kawasaki ZX-7 with about 23,000 miles on it...then a guy ran into me in Florida (I live in Ohio). I now have a 1998 ZX-6R with about 14,000 miles on it and have had no problems with it. I take it to Mid Ohio every year and run the piss out of it too. One of the biggest things you'll need to do to a bike is suspension work. If you'd like to know more about that, send me an e-mail at jcouture@woh.rr.com .

PS: Bikes are awesome, if you're a smart rider. If you're somewhat reckless in a car...don't get a bike.
